Community Transport Schemes - Join the Pilot

Could your Community Transport Scheme benefit from more volunteer drivers?

Schemes across Devon are being invited to join an exciting pilot programme that aims to develop a new, scalable approach to volunteer recruitment and retention. By taking part, schemes will help shape a model that will:

  • Attract and retain more volunteers.
  • Support the long-term sustainability of community transport services.
  • Make volunteering more flexible and easier to manage.
  • Improve access to health, wellbeing and community services for people living in rural and coastal areas.
  • Bring different generations together to support rural mobility and reduce isolation.
