Broadclyst Food Bank

Broadclyst Food Bank was initially set up as a satellite hub of Exeter Food Bank, getting emergency food parcels out to households who are unable to afford to buy food. As time has gone on, that urgent emergency need has dropped away; however, we recognised that although people have their benefits in place it’s still leaving them with barely enough money to live on, especially in rural areas with no public transport where people need to keep a vehicle on the road.

If you need an emergency food parcel, please contact EDDC on 01395 517446 or Citizens Advice on 01395 265070. For delivery, please ring us on 07532 286713 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. on This email address is being protected from spambots. To meet that initial demand, as the emergency food parcels are only dry goods, we arranged to collect short date produce from local supermarkets to supplement household diets. This has continued and we are able to offer households some short date bakery goods. If you are interested in this, please This email address is being protected from spambots. If you are in food poverty, you may qualify for an emergency food parcel.
