Beware of ticket fraud
Oasis, Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Glastonbury... there's loads of exciting concerts and festivals coming up over the summer.
We all know how quickly these events can sell out, but if you weren't lucky enough to get tickets and are still desperate to go, beware of ticket fraud.
Ticket fraud can take various forms. For example, you might see someone posting on social media saying they have tickets for sale - often explaining they can no longer go for some reason. They might ask you to pay by bank transfer, but once you have sent the money, the tickets never arrive and the seller vanishes.
To stay safe from this fraud, only ever buy tickets from the venue’s box office, official promoter or agent, or a well-known ticketing website. Steer clear of any tickets you see for sale outside of these official channels, no matter how keen you are to go.
