Where: COCKERAMS ROAD, WHIMPLE 
When: 04/08/2026 - 06/08/2026

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (COCKERAMS ROAD, WHIMPLE) NOTICE 2026 

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC 

DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL hereby give NOTICE that:

From:                            TUESDAY 4 AUGUST 2026 
Anticipated Finish:        THURSDAY 6 AUGUST 2026 (both dates inclusive)
For a maximum of:       5 days

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected:            COCKERAMS ROAD, WHIMPLE     

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via:

BROCKINGTONS ROAD, ROAD FROM FORCHES HEAD TO WARDS CROSS, ROAD FROM WARDS CROSS TO TROWDON AND VICE VERSA 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable:
