BROADCLYST GARDENING CLUB

The Broadclyst Gardening Club meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7.30pm in the Wiltshier Room at the Victory Hall. From March 2011 the annual membership (March 2013-Feb 2014) is £18.00. Visitors pay £2.50 on the door.

We have had a varied and exciting series of meetings and events to date and plenty more in the pipeline. Our events are posted on the upcoming events page of this website and on posters around the village.

At our monthly meetings we have speakers on a wide variety of topics and an occasional quiz, film or workshop, followed by tea and coffee. The meetings end with a swap/shop which includes plants, seeds, cards, books and produce. There are outings to gardens of interest, both local and further afield and the club also takes part in village events such as Fun Day.

You may have noticed that the group has recently obtained a grant to refurbish the small area of waste ground near the shop and put a bench there.
