There are many facilities within and around the village. If you want to know about the groups and societies that use them, then follow the link above.

There are two active churches in the village as well as a Twinning Association that are working to build links with Plobannalec-Lesconil in France. We have successful primary and secondary schools in Broadclyst. Opposite the secondary school are the allotments. We have our own Community Police Officer, Buffie who is often seen around the Parish.

Victory Hall

Victory Hall is in the centre of the Village. As well as being home to Broadclyst Social club, it is also home to various groups with diverse interests such as Short Mat Bowls, Lace making, Art, History Group, Beaders, Yoga, Bee keeping, Squeeze Box, Senior Citizens, Folk Group, Bingo, and three separate Dog Clubs. The Parish Council also have their monthly meetings in the Wiltshire room, part of Victory Hall. Broadclyst Library

Broadclyst has a public library at Clyst Vale Community College. The library has an excellent range of fiction and non-fiction, including:


- Stories on cassette and CD and

- a huge range of children's books, from board books, picture books, beginner reads through to teenage fiction.

You can order from the whole Devon Library Services catalogue.They also offer loan collections to pre-school groups.You can have a FREE 30 minutes on a PC, with a small charge for time thereafter. The friendly and knowledgeable staff, as well as loaning books, can also help you learn how to use the Internet. Silver Surfers
