Get on your bike ...

Following eight years work, the latest phase to Killerton’s family cycling network, is completing a long-held ambition of theirs to provide our local community with a link between the National Trust property and Broadclyst.

The track offers a safe 10K route along surfaced trails passing historic landmarks such as Clyston Mill and Budlake Post Office. Broadclyst Primary School has wasted no time in adopting the cycle track for their weekly sports class. Killerton is keen to invite local residents to take to two wheels to try the new cycle track out and give them your feedback.

Ed Nicholson, Killerton’s Area Warden has been leading the cycle track project. He said: ‘Our work here at Killerton is part of a long-held commitment to increase family cycling on the estate.  Leisure cycling will improve people’s access and enjoyment of the stunning countryside that we care for both at Killerton.’
